The Delivery Clerk is responsible for handling delivery requests for merchandise and goods and ensuring that orders are filled and sent out to customers. Follow up to ensure order arrives.

Specific duties include but are not limited to:

· Prepare and organize itemized delivery documents for merchandise to be delivered by truck drivers and document

· Oversee the loading of merchandise onto vehicles and check to ensure that they match the delivery documents such as invoice or delivery note/s. This also includes items to be collected from customers

· Assist with the selection of merchandise for delivery from warehouses and or Lumber Yard

· Verify that the goods destined for delivery are intact and report any defects

· Inspect delivery trucks loaded with merchandise to ensure compliance with company’s safety and packing standards and keep records of and arrange for storage of undelivered merchandise

· Work with the warehouse team and/or sales team to arrange inventory and select customers merchandise e for delivery

· Data entry, including updating Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and SPRUCE application with the relevant customer information

· Assist with stock verification in the Lumber Yard, Cement Shed, and Tile Room

Education, Skills, and Experience

· Must possess five (5) CXC subjects including Mathematics and English

· Detail-oriented and good documentation skills

The highly interactive session showcased the Toledo line of products including the Nexxus, the Black Series (the TBK90R) and Anti Corrosion High-Security locks.

Mr. Joshua Diaz, Toledo Locks Company Regional Sales Head, engaged patrons updating them on the latest innovations in lock technology with hands on demonstrations, highlighting the features, functions and benefits.

Mr. Diaz also took the opportunity to offer expert advice while educating customers about the importance of choosing the right locks for their needs and offered practical solutions for home and office security.

Patrons praised the idea and openly expressed their pleasure in having the event, as many saw it as a chance to learn more about the products and by extension the services that are readily available to them from the store.
