Basseterre, St. Kitts, December 20, 2023 – Mrs. Jacqueline Hewlett, a career banker, on St. Kitts is the fifth and final winner in the St. Kitts-Nevis-Anguilla Trading and Development Company Limited (TDC) $50K Mega Raffle for November 2023.

The Executive’s name was digitally drawn from 52,326 entries having made her purchase at the TDC Home and Building Depot, on Frigate Bay Road, in Basseterre. She was presented with her EC$10,000 cheque in the fifth and final draw at an exciting symbolic handing-over ceremony in the TDC Mall, on Fort Street in Basseterre.

On hand to witness the presentation and grand finale of the five-month long campaign were TDC staff who joined in the celebration to congratulate Ms. Hewlett waving TDC 50 paraphernalia, while also basking in the showers of golden confetti as she received the symbolic winners cheque from Mr. Kashka Thompson, the TDC Client Relations and Marketing Manager.

Following the handover, Mrs. Hewlett said her win was timely, especially at this festive season when individuals have additional expenses. She added that it would help her with the payment bills.

“This prize is very timely, especially at the time of the year, the Holiday, and Festive Season. This is a most welcomed gift, which help with paying my expenses.”

Describing the TDC 50K Mega Raffle as a success, Mr. Kashka Thompson, the Client Relations and Marketing Manager, said “TDC was pleased to give back to the community. The TDC Mega Rewards Incentive Programme is a clear indication that shopping at TDC has its “privileges.”

Five lucky winners emerged during the period July through November 2023. They are Mr. Melvin and Mrs. Melvin James (Winner 1), Ms. Hope L. Merchant (Winner 2), Mr. Keeth Arthurton (Winner 3), Mr. Urban and Mrs. Amelia Freeman (Winner 4) and Mrs. Jacqueline Hewlett (Winner 5), who were all rewarded for their loyalty as members of the TDC Mega Rewards Incentive Programme.

Basseterre, St. Kitts – Two (2) retired educators, Mr. Urban Freeman and his wife, Mrs. Amelia Freeman are the fourth winners in the St. Kitts Nevis-Anguilla Trading and Development Company Limited (TDC) 50K Mega Raffle for October 2023.

The couple, who reside in Saddlers, received their EC$10,000.00 cheque at the TDC Automotive Division at the C A Paul Southwell Industrial Site on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, during a symbolic handing-over ceremony.

The Freemans took the opportunity to speak of their experiences in doing business at various retail stores and how they plan to make the best use of their winnings.

“I am always happy to shop at TDC. TDC is fifty years, that’s a great achievement. Fifty years of serving the country of St. Christopher and Nevis, all the years of consistent good quality products and interesting people,” Mr. Freeman said.

Mrs. Freeman indicated, “We have spent a lot of money with TDC, so the $10,000.00 reward would assist greatly as we are in the process of building.”

On hand to congratulate the lucky shoppers was Mr. Kashka Thompson, the Client Relations and Marketing Manager, who spoke about the success of the promotion and its continued benefits to TDC customers.

“The TDC 50K Mega Raffle, which forms part of our ongoing fifth anniversary celebrations, has been extremely successful thus far. Our customers are signing up for our Mega Rewards Incentive Programme to become members every month to reap the benefits of shopping online and in retail stores,” stated Thompson.

He also added, “A mandate of the 50th anniversary celebrations is to give back to our many valued customers. Therefore, this raffle is a very novel idea, and it actually increases our brand visibility and awareness.”

The exciting initiative, now in its last month with over qualifying 41,737 entries, since it started in June, will give another lucky TDC customer the chance to take home the final EC$10,000 prize, on Thursday 30th November 2023.

However, for this chance patrons must sign up at any retail store or by scanning QR code on 50K Mega Raffle promotional posters, digital media or by accessing the link https://bit.ly/TDCMegaRewards. They must spend EC$250 or more, at the TDC Automotive Divisions, City Drug Store (Nevis) Limited, TDC Home and Building Depots and shoptdcgroup.com.

Hire purchase customers will qualify to be in the last digital draw when they open a new contract before the Thursday 30th November 2023 deadline.

The TDC 50K Mega Raffle is one of the many activities on the Group’s golden anniversary calendar, which is being celebrated under the theme, “Your Neighbour, Your Partner, Your Future.”

BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, September 11, 2023 – Ms. Hope L. Merchant of Gingerland, Nevis is the second winner in the St. Kitts Nevis Anguilla Trading and Development Company Limited (TDC) $50K Mega Raffle.

The longstanding TDC shopper was presented with her winnings at the official presentation on Friday, September 8, 2023, at the TDC Home and Building Depot at Pinney’s Industrial Estate, by Mr. Colin Freeman, the General Manager, who expressed his satisfaction that Ms. Merchant, a Nevisian, emerged the winner from amongst some 28,000 entries.

“This win will impact our sales tremendously, I am sure. It is good to see that the Nevisian public has a chance of winning up to $50,000.00. TDC has significant patronage in Nevis. In fact, Ms. Merchant bought her first vehicle, a Mitsubishi Lancer, from TDC.”

Ms. Merchant took the opportunity to emphasize that it was not luck in winning, but a blessing and encouraged others to purchase their goods at TDC.

“Come to TDC and shop; nice people are here. They will take care of you; they will take care of me. This raffle alone is taking care of their customers,” says the elated winner.

In speaking about the success of the five-month campaign, Mr. Kashka Thompson, TDC Client Relations and Marketing Manager highlighted the fact that the raffle has catapulted sales, through cash or hire purchase.

“Since the handing over of the cheque to our first winner, there has been an overwhelming response from our customers who all want to win,” said Thompson.

He noted, “TDC expects to see sales increase even more as the company continues to give back to its patrons. The TDC Home and Building Depots are celebrating their 20th Anniversary, and all TDC Mega Reward Members will receive a 20% discount on their purchases, while non-members will receive 10% from September 11th thru 30th 2023.”

The promotional offer gives patrons who are not yet TDC Mega Reward Members, another opportunity to sign up at any retail store or scan the sign-up QR codes on raffle posters, digital media or by accessing the link https://bit.ly/TDCMegaRewards to qualify for a chance at winning EC$10,000.

Hire-purchase customers are also eligible and will receive one entry per contract. Shoppers spending EC$250.00 or more can win up to EC$50,000.00. All entries from the previous raffles will roll over every month until November 2023, when the final draw will be held.

Basseterre, St. Kitts – August 3, 2023 – Mr. Melvin and Mrs. Malvie James on St. Kitts are the first winners of EC$10,000.00 in the TDC 50K Mega Raffle, held on Monday 31st July 2023.

The couple’s names were randomly chosen in the digital draw from among over fourteen thousand entries from the TDC Retail Stores, shoptdcgroup.com, and new hire purchase contracts opened in June and July 2023.  It forms part of the Group’s 50th Anniversary celebrations, currently being held under the theme, “Your Neighbour, Your Partner, Your Future.”

At a brief handing over ceremony at the TDC Home and Building Depot, on Thursday 3rd August, Mr. Melvin James was presented with his winnings by Mr. Glenville Jeffers, TDC Group Executive Director, who congratulated the regular shoppers on their good fortune.

“I congratulate Mr. and Mrs. James, our first winners in our TDC 50K Mega Raffle. We are very happy for them.  They’re no strangers to the TDC Home and Building Depot and have been doing business with us for many years.”

Mr. Jeffers also used the happy moment to encourage shoppers to continue to patronize all the TDC retail stores, including shoptdcgroup.com, to qualify for their chance at the $10,000 month prize.

“We also take this opportunity to encourage all our customers to shop at all our retail stores and online, for their chance to win $10,000.00 every month until November 2023.”

In accepting his cheque from Mr. Jeffers, an elated Mr. James expressed his happiness and the joy of winning and praised the company for ‘giving back’ to its customers in such a tangible way.

I always shop at the different units, especially the Home and Building Depot.  When I received the call about being the lucky winner, it almost felt like a call from heaven. When asked what he will do with the winnings, a smiling James said, “there is a lot to be done, it involves shopping again, buying home items, and renovations, but of course I will pass this on to the Minister of Finance, my wife.”

On hand to witness the handover at the TDC Home and Building Depot on the Frigate Bay Road were Mr. James’ relatives, Mrs. Charlene Stapleton, TDC Chief Operating Officer (COO), Mr. Kashka Thompson, TDC Client Relations and Marketing Manager, Management from the Home and Building Depot Management Team, and staff who all wished the winners well.

The TDC 50K Mega Raffle was launched in June 2023 and is open to all TDC Mega Rewards Card Programme members who spend EC$250.00 or more at any TDC retail store or www.shoptdcgroup.com.
