The St. Kitts Nevis Anguilla Trading and Development Company Limited (TDC) is currently seeking applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of Sales, Marketing, and New Business Supervisor at the TDC Thrifty Car Rentals, C A Paul Southwell Industrial Site, St. Kitts.  

Job Summary 

Supervises and directs business development efforts by analyzing and structuring sales opportunities, implementing strategic marketing plans, and soliciting new business from key customers.  

Main Duties 

  • Present, promote and sell TDC vehicle rental fleet and used vehicles using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers 
  • Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs 
  • Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships with key entities in the Tourism and Hotel Sectors 
  • Exploit the untapped Airbnb Market, by forging relationships with apartment and condominium owners 
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction 
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule 
  • Monitor vehicles residual, work with the Department Manager on disposal values and promote sales 
  • Handle customers’ complaints and resolve issues timely 
  • Identify and assist effectively with the training and development of staff 
  • To motivate and coach all staff in sales tactics and to help the team increase sales 
  • Responsible for upward and downwards communications with all staff members to ensure that instructions are adhered to and properly implemented 
  • Ensure all staff adhere to the Company’s policies and procedures 
  • Conduct regular staff performance reviews and provide feedback to Management 
  • Ensure the retail area is accommodating and presentable, and the highest customer service is rendered 
  • Provide daily fleet utilization; maximize revenue on all rentals 
  • Manage maintenance of fleet and procurement of parts 
  • Ensure all vehicles are kept at a high standard 
  • Out-of-normal working hours support for customers in the event of a vehicular breakdown

Education and/or Experience 

  • A Degree with emphasis on sales or marketing or business 
  • Excellent selling skills, including closing ability, strong negotiation, as well as excellent people skills 
  • Ability to multi-task 
  • Minimum of one-or two-years sales experience
