Job Summary

The Clerk/Paint Technician will be responsible for conducting sales, offer colour matching expertise, paint product selection advice and ensuring the smooth operation of the Paint Department. The position holder will also assist with restocking shelves, processing orders, and understanding the product inventory.

Education, Skills, and Experience

· At minimum, six (6) CXC/GCE subjects including English & Mathematics

· Prior experience in retail, specifically in Paint Sales

· Pleasant and polite with excellent customer service skills

· Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills

· Computer literate and proficient

· Excellent team player

Requirements

· Two (2) letters of reference

· At least two (2) years’ experience in related field will be a plus

· Must be flexible

The St. Kitts Nevis Anguilla Trading and Development Company Limited (TDC) is currently seeking applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of Shipping Clerk in the TDC Shipping Department in Pinney’s Industrial Estate, Charlestown, Nevis.

Job Responsibilities

The Shipping Clerk will be responsible for providing frontline customer service to clients of the Shipping Department and giving support as necessary to other areas of the department, including TDC Airbox US Mailbox/DHL Courier services.

Education, Skills, and Experience

• At minimum, five (5) CXC/GCE subject including English and Mathematics

• Successful completion/passes in at least four (4) CAPE subjects a plus

• Detail-Oriented with good documentation skills

• Excellent Teamwork

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Excellent customer service skills

• Applicant must hold a valid driver’s license

• Custom Brokerage experience a plus

• Computer Literate and Proficient
