TDC is currently seeking applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of Senior Supervisor in the Home and Building Depot, Frigate Bay Road, Basseterre, St. Kitts.
Job Summary
The Supervisor will be responsible for the Office Furniture and the Household/Housewares departments. The team member will be responsible for product availability, customer services, controlling sales and pricing.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:
· Analyzing market trends and make practical recommendations where necessary
· Managing inventory
· Merchandising including appealing and attractive product displays/store layouts
· Forecasting and monitoring products and price trends
· Conducting staff performance assessments under mandate, ensuring full compliance with the appraisal process and submission deadlines
· Assisting the Senior Manager with the review and analysis of Monthly Sales Reports and take appropriate action in a timely manner
· Managing customer relationships to ensure satisfaction
Qualifications and Requirements
· An Associate degree in Sales, Marketing and Merchandising
· Experience in a supervisory capacity at a retail store, or similar
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Excellent salesmanship
· Trustworthiness and compliance with company policies and procedures
· Ability to analyze department reports and accounts
· Strong administrative skills to manage people and processes
· Computer literate/proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Requirements
· Two (2) letters of reference
· At least two (2) years’ experience in related field
· Must be flexible
