Basseterre, St. Kitts – In a significant show of corporate support, TDC has donated over twenty-five gallons of BERGER paint, towards The Cable’s Joseph N France (JNF) Hospital Patients and Visitors Lounge Renovation Project.

The newly modernized space has been transformed using warm, welcome and tropical colours, which was revealed at the official ceremony on Tuesday 22 October 2024, to celebrate the completion of the six-month long project, which was spearheaded by the Telecommunications Company, The Cable.

In speaking of the corporate partnership, Ms. Jhanelle Brown, the TDC Client Relations and Marketing Manager (Ag) spoke of TDCs contribution and the underscored the value corporate partnership for community advancement.

“In 2023, our golden anniversary year, we were approached by Ms. Patricia Walters, the CEO of The Cable collaborate on this venture, to which TDC said, yes, recognizing the value of corporate partnership and giving back,” said Brown.

She added, “Healthcare is an essential part of our community’s well-being, and we are proud to contribute to the enhancement of the Joseph N France Hospital through our donation of paint for this meaningful initiative. We believe that a fresh, modern environment will have a positive impact on both patients and medical staff. Today, two companies who are synonymous with quality and innovation and a commitment to community development. This aligns seamlessly with our collective values to transform this space into a place of comfort, hope and healing with colour. This project is not just about revitalizing another space, this is a symbol of our commitment to the well-being of our community. Over twenty-five gallons of durable, environmentally friendly paints suitable for healthcare facilities was used to transform the lounge that includes the waiting area, outpatient counters, and public corridors, to make the frequently used space even brighter, and more uplifting space for all who visit or use the services of the institution.

TDC has also recently completed a similar project on the island of Nevis, with a contribution to the St. Georges and St. Johns Senior Citizens Home in Gingerland, to give the building a much-needed facelift.
