Dear Toyota Owner,
At Toyota, we are dedicated to providing vehicles of outstanding quality and value. Part of our commitment is to provide important information to you whenever a specific concern or problem may affect your vehicle.
What is the problem?
The subject vehicles are equipped with a Takata-produced front airbag which could potentially be susceptible to deploy abnormally in a crash. These airbags have inflators that can rupture during deployment and cause serious injury or even death. Inflators in vehicles that have experienced prolonged exposure to hot and humid conditions pose a greater risk to rupture during deployment.
If your Toyota vehicle falls within the following model range, please contact your Toyota Dealer who will advise you if the recall is applicable to your vehicle.
Toyota Rav4 – Model ACA21R-AWPNK (2000-2005)
Your Toyota Service Advisor will be able to schedule an appointment to have the repairs performed as soon as possible. The replacement of the airbag inflator module is at NO CHARGE to you.

Students enrolled in the Learning Support programme at the Saddlers Secondary School will now have access to technology that will enhance the teaching and learning capabilities.
On Tuesday 11th September 2018, before a packed classroom, that also included Mr. Daryll Lloyd, Chief Education Officer, Mrs. Nicole Warde-Morris, Learning Support Coordinator and, Mrs. Julia Byron-Isaac, School Principal, Ms. Evon Rogers, General Manager of the TDC Insurance Company Limited handed over a brand-new Canon Pixma 531 Multi-Function Printer to Mrs. Donaly Liburd-Caesar, the Head of the Department.
In making the presentation of the state-of-the-art device, the Insurance Executive spoke of her company’s commitment to Education and how the donation will benefit the institution’s programmes.
“We understand the value of Education and consider this donation to be a most practical and fitting tool to help to support the development of students in this programme. We are confident you will use it wisely to also advance your curriculum and by extension your school’s academic agenda,” said Rogers.
In response, Mrs. Donaly Liburd-Caesar, expressed profound appreciation to Ms. Rogers on behalf of the Ministry, the school, and the department for the timely contribution.
“On behalf of the Ministry of Education, the Saddlers Secondary School, and myself, I say a heartful thank you. I was overwhelmed by the level of support we received from the TDC Insurance Company Limited when we made our request to help us meet the required needs of our unit. This contribution will surely go a long way in helping our students to achieve their assigned tasks. Your assistance is greatly appreciated,” remarked Liburd-Caesar.
With the newly acquired equipment, the teachers and students will now be able to perform mobile printing by using their compatible smart devices to print or scan photos and documents. It will give them access to the free PPS Cloud printing app function to print directly from select popular online Cloud services, such as, Picasa Web Albums, Flickr, Facebook, Twitter, and Dropbox.
With its auto duplex printing, they can also print automatically on both sides of paper and can help reduce paper usage and cost by up to fifty percent (50%). The automatic document feeder, which holds up to thirty (30) sheets of paper, will also make it easier to copy, scan or fax multiple page documents.
Since opening its doors to the public in 1987, the TDC Insurance Company Limited (TDCIC), a staunch supporter of educational advancement has also endorsed similar projects at various Primary and Secondary schools across the Federation.
