According to Mr. Ernie France, TDC Nevis Managing Director, “We are thrilled to once again support the Joycelyn Liburd Primary School Track Team in their pursuit of track and field excellence. Our sponsorship, valued at over five thousand dollars, reflects our ongoing pledge to nurturing young talent, promoting physical fitness, and fostering a strong sense of community pride. We believe that through this partnership, the students will not only excel on the track but also develop important life skills that will serve them well beyond the competition.”

Principal of Joycelyn Liburd Primary School (JLPS), Mrs. Akela Brand, expressed her gratitude to TDC for their generous support: “We are deeply appreciative of TDC’s sponsorship, which will significantly enhance the resources available to our athletes. This gesture not only motivates our students to do their best but also highlights the importance of teamwork, discipline, and perseverance, values that are vital in both sports and in life.”

Basseterre, St. Kitts – As the world celebrated International Water Day on Wednesday 22 March 2023, under the theme, Be the Change You Want to See in The World, the TDC Home and Building Depots, took the opportunity to host an in store tasting event, dubbed Water Wednesdays.

Customers, and the public got the opportunity to use the self-serve fruit-based infused water stations with chilled locally grown fresh fruits and herbs to remind them of the importance of staying hydrated by drinking a much healthier low-calorie substitute instead of highly carbonated and sweetened beverages.

The welcome addition to the shopping experience was well received by patrons, as well as staff from other TDC departments who praised the idea, while quenching their thirsts and inquiring about the health benefits of the delicious brews.

The overwhelming response has led management to make the decision to include Water Wednesdays as a regular in-house activity, in partnership with the Health Promotion Units, the Ministries of Agriculture and Health.
