As efforts to address criminal activity within the Federation continue, (especially among the Youth), the TDC Group of Companies has stepped up to endorse the “Project Stop and Think” (PSAT) initiative.
Ms. Mia Bailey, the Client Relations and Marketing Manager joined several civic partners, that includes the Royal St. Christopher Police Force, the Chamber of Industry Commerce, and the Ministry of Education, presented a number of corporate branded t-shirts at the launch of the school based activity on Monday 3rd April 2017, at a brief ceremony held at the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (CIC) Conference Room, on Horsfords Road in Basseterre.
According to Ms. Bailey, “TDC is pleased to partner with the Chamber and other stakeholders to implement a social awareness programme that is specifically geared towards curbing crime and violence amongst our young people.”
She further added that the company was proud to play its part in helping to empower young people to make better life choices, and wiser decisions, as they aim to become more responsible and productive members within our community.
More than two thousand students have participated in and will engage in a series of activities that include training sessions, school rallies/marches, and community interventions led by Dr. Neals Chitan, International Social Skills Consultant and Crime Reduction Specialist.
