 The Branch Manager will be responsible for managing the operations of the St. Kitts Branch and will also be expected to perform essential duties including:

  • The general management of the office and all direct reports
  • Maintain a positive organizational culture through strong and effective leadership
  • Enforce the Company’s strategy to achieve its goals
  • Ensure employees provide the highest quality service to customers
  • Maintain the Company’s image by collaborating with customers and employees by enforcing the standards of ethical business practices.
  • Monitor the lending process to provide support to staff while ensuring total compliance with KYC indicators
  • Growing the sale of loan products within the risk tolerance levels
  • Managing the budgets for the Branch
  • Producing and submitting monthly performance reports
  • Ensuring compliance with credit approval limits
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of appropriate systems for risk management and internal control
  • Assess the market to maintain competitive advantage
  • Conduct due diligence checks to ensure all required documents are collected and examined for all new deposit accounts
  • Assist in new product development, advertising and promotions

Qualifications and Experience

  •  At minimum, a Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting or related fields
  • Certification in Accounting, Finance or related fields will be a plus
  • At least five (5) years Branch Management experience


  •  Experience in managing and accessing risk as a mortgage and loans provider
  • Experience in quality lending decision-making
  • Results Driven and Customer Focused
  • Manage time effectively, produce statistical reports and meet deadlines
  • Ability to lead, coach and manage a diverse team to produce results
  • Advanced computer skills in MS Office and Excel
  • Able to navigate banking software
  • Excellent organizational and written communication skills

Job Responsibilities

The Management Accountant will be responsible for analyzing key financial information to provide feedback that will aid in managerial planning and strategic decision making, in an effort to enhance the future and profitability of the TDC Group.

 Qualification and Experience

  • At minimum, a Master’s degree in Accounting.
  • CPA, ACCA or other professional accounting designation will be preferred
  • At least 5 years experience preparing financial statements
  • At least 5 years supervisory or managerial experience
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel
  • Previous experience in using Accounting Software


  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS
  • Excellent written and strong communication skills
  • Ability to train others on technical aspects of Accounting
  • Methodical in approach, solves problems and achieves results
  • Demonstrates good judgement, pays attention to detail, meets deadlines
  • Possess leadership capabilities
  • Able to work independently or as a member of a team

The TDC Group of Companies congratulates Mr. Steve Farier, General Manager, TDC Financial Services Company Limited, on his appointment as President of the Bankers and Financial Services Association of St. Kitts and Nevis.

He brings to the post a wealth of knowledge, with over fifteen (15) years of experience, having succeeded Mr. Chad Allen, Manager (St. Kitts Operations) of The Bank of Nevis, (formally Royal Bank of Canada).

Mr. Farier holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Financial Analysis and Fund Management from the University of Exeter (UK) and is a Certified Residential Underwriter (CRU),as well as, a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS).

According to Mr. Farier, “It is with tremendous gratitude that I accept this new challenge. The BFSA aims to preserve a sound banking system by increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of banking services within St. Kitts and Nevis.
