Basseterre, St. Kitts – Kittitian Maurice Sargeant is the lucky winner in the BERGER Paints Holiday Paint and Win Promotion and bagged himself USD$1000.00 in groceries from any RAMS Supermarket, in St. Kitts and Nevis.

Mr. Sargeant was presented with his winnings at the RAMS Supermarket Bird Rock branch by Mr. Pavensh Negi, the Branch Manager, Mr. Rohit Tanwar, Assistant Branch Manager and Ms. Jacynthia Teshiera, RAMS Trading Limited Marketing Assistant, at a brief ceremony to officially congratulate the lucky winner.

In receiving the grocery vouchers Mr. Sargeant expressed his gratitude to the companies and spoke of how he intended to use them.

Patrons who purchased any gallon of BERGER 303, 404, or Everglow paint products were qualified for the chance to scan the promotional QR Code and upload their receipt to automatically enter to win the shopping prize.

Basseterre, St. Kitts, December 20, 2023 – Mrs. Jacqueline Hewlett, a career banker, on St. Kitts is the fifth and final winner in the St. Kitts-Nevis-Anguilla Trading and Development Company Limited (TDC) $50K Mega Raffle for November 2023.

The Executive’s name was digitally drawn from 52,326 entries having made her purchase at the TDC Home and Building Depot, on Frigate Bay Road, in Basseterre. She was presented with her EC$10,000 cheque in the fifth and final draw at an exciting symbolic handing-over ceremony in the TDC Mall, on Fort Street in Basseterre.

On hand to witness the presentation and grand finale of the five-month long campaign were TDC staff who joined in the celebration to congratulate Ms. Hewlett waving TDC 50 paraphernalia, while also basking in the showers of golden confetti as she received the symbolic winners cheque from Mr. Kashka Thompson, the TDC Client Relations and Marketing Manager.

Following the handover, Mrs. Hewlett said her win was timely, especially at this festive season when individuals have additional expenses. She added that it would help her with the payment bills.

“This prize is very timely, especially at the time of the year, the Holiday, and Festive Season. This is a most welcomed gift, which help with paying my expenses.”

Basseterre, St. Kitts – As the Federation continues to observe Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the TDC Group hosted a ‘Soft Chair Conversation’, on Thursday 26th October 2023, as part of its efforts to support the National campaign to educate further educate staff about the disease.

The informal, educational, and insightful activity was facilitated by Mrs. Valarie McIntosh, a Breast Cancer Survivor, and Ms. Mulik Walters, a Mental Health Specialist, who spoke candidly to employees from across the Group, about their experiences and how it affects both women and men.

In her presentation, Mrs. McIntosh shared her remarkable journey, while emphasizing the importance of early breast screening, the physical, and psychological effects she encountered and her strength to overcome during the life changing ordeal.

Ms. Walters spoke passionately about the emotional aspects of the breast cancer journey and how having a strong support system, a spiritual connection and an optimistic outlook can help affected live life to its fullest.

The staff praised the activity and welcomed the opportunity to participate in similar sessions in the future to discuss general and specific health and wellness topics, its impact, and how to better respond to the changes it brings to the workplace.

The event was organized by the Mrs. Andrea James-Wattley, the Employee Relations Officer and was held at the TDC Home and Building Depot, which is also currently celebrating ‘Pinktober’, its annual Breast Cancer Sales and Outreach Programme.
