Kittitian Mr. Michael Buchanan is the grand prize winner in the BERGER Paints Paint and Be Merry Christmas Sweepstakes, and won free groceries for one (1) year from the any RAMS Supermarket in St. Kitts or Nevis.
Mr. Buchanan, a local soca dancehall artiste also known as ‘Mainy’ received the call from the BERGER office in Barbados after his name was randomly drawn from among thousands of entries from St. Kitts, Nevis, Antigua, St. Lucia, and St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
The overjoyed shopper purchased his paint for home renovation in December at the TDC Home and Building Depot on the Frigate Bay Road and spoke of his excitement and good fortune.
“It feels great to win. This is going to save me a lot for the whole year.”
Mr. Javoni Collins, Sales Associate in the Paints and Oils Unit presented Buchanan with the shopping vouchers valued at EC$6000.00 (i.e. EC$500.00 monthly) at brief presentation at the retail store at the TDC Home and Building Depot on St. Kitts.
Mr. Collins congratulated and thanked him for his loyal patronage.

As part of the 10-week long promotion, lucky patrons, Bernette Antonio, Thomas Carey, Larry Maynard and Roosevelt Maloney each received five hundred dllars (EC$500.00) in groceries in monthly draws, while others collected instant prizes such as, stylus pens, car visors, caps, pedometers, Bluetooth speakers, keyrings, tote bags, draw-string bags and 25% discount coupons.
The activity formed part of the companies’ annual Christmas campaign, which is designed to reward customers/clients for their business.
