The St. Kitts Nevis Anguilla Trading and Development Company Limited (TDC) is a leading private sector company and an equal opportunity employer in the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis. TDC is currently seeking applications from experienced, dynamic and results oriented professional to fill the position of Claims Manager at TDC Insurance Company, St. Kitts Branch, which is located at West Independence Street, Basseterre, St. Kitts.
The Claims Manager will be responsible for overseeing the processes of insurance claims to ensure efficiency and accuracy while also providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Ensuring claims personnel provide the highest quality service to customers
- Overseeing claims function and reporting
- Managing recoveries to reinsurers
- Managing service providers such as surveyors, assessors, and attorneys
- Ensuring fair settlement of claims
- Ensuring that every claim has an allocated reserve and is recorded
Qualifications and Experience
- At minimum, a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Accounting or related fields
- Advance Diploma in Insurance or equivalent a plus
- At minimum, five (5) years claims management/leadership experience
Requirements
- Results driven and customer focused
- Able to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
- Possess advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent organizational and written communication skills
- Excellent team building and leadership skills
